Green meetings & Events

Sustainable events have always been a matter of course for us, in order to meet our ecological responsibility towards our environment and our fellow human beings.

Since 1 December 2012, we have therefore been the first location in Upper Austria to be officially authorised to call ourselves a provider and certification authority for Green Meetings & Green Events. This involves a careful catalogue of criteria that provides information about the sustainability of an event. With Green Meetings & Green Events, for example, special emphasis is placed on environmentally friendly arrival and departure, waste avoidance and energy efficiency as well as regional added value. When it comes to catering, the focus is on organic products from the region and Fairtrade products. If an event is certified as "green" by us, everyone involved can be sure that attention is paid to the ecological footprint of the event. A strong statement for your event!

Since our building was already designed with the protection of our environment in mind, our facilities provide you with advantages such as an additional well water cooling system or perfect public transport connections, which immediately make your event more sustainable simply by having the Design Center as a location.
